Tim Bosmans

DVM, PhD, Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Ghent University

Tim Bosmans graduated as a veterinarian in 2002 from the University of Ghent. Since 2003, Tim has been working as an assistant at the Department of Small Animals, Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the faculty in Merelbeke, and in 2017 he also became a full-time educational supervisor. In 2012, Tim obtained his PhD (multimodal analgesic approaches for stifle surgery in dogs) and in 2013 he completed his training as a resident in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Since 2020, Tim also works as a freelance consultant in anaesthesia and analgesia. Furthermore, Tim has extensive experience as a speaker at national and international symposia.

Diego Rodrigo Mocholi

DVM, PhD, Diplomate ECVAA, 3A Animal Anesthesia & Analgesia (Spain)

Diego Rodrigo Mocholi graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Murcia (Spain) in 2007. In 2012, he began a specialization in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia in Ghent. After completion, he worked as a clinical specialist in veterinary anaesthesia at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals of the Royal Veterinary College (UK). In 2017, he became head of the veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia service at the University of Sydney (Australia). After two years, he returned to the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (UK) until the end of 2020. He currently has his own specialist service for veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia across Europe, called 3A Animal Anaesthesia and Analgesia. In addition to obtaining the European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Pain Management in 2022, he completed his PhD in early 2016 on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of intramuscular use of alfaxalone in cats.
